Konkona Sen Sharma,(Bengali: কঙ্কনা সেন শর্মা, Hindi: कोंकणा सेन शर्मा), born 3 December1979 in New Delhi, India is a two-time National Award winning Indian actress.She made her debut as a child artist in the film Indira (1983) and as an adult in Bengali Thrillar Movie Ek Je Aachhe Kanya (2000). She gained attention with the English film Mr. and Mrs. Iyer (2002), and received the coveted National Film Award for Best Actress for her performance in the film. Her appearance in the film Page 3 (2005) gave her a wide recognition. Since then, she has starred in a number of films, most of which have been more critically than commercially successful. She won two Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Awards for her performances in Omkara and Life in a... Metro respectively.
