Carter Oosterhouse (born September 19, 1976) is a Mexican-Americantelevision personality and model, who was born in Traverse City, Michigan. The child of Mary López and Roland Oosterhouse [1], Oosterhouse first gained national fame as a carpenter on the TLC series Trading Spaces. Oosterhouse has a B.A. in nutrition and communication from Central Michigan University, which he attended on a rugby scholarship.
